Hotels in St Augustine, Florida
Like all other cities in Florida, St. Augustine offers golfers plenty of reasons to visit. The hotels in St. Augustine realize the vital importance of tourists to the city's economy and take every effort to ensure your stay is worthwhile and comfortable. The climate here is fairly good year round for a golf vacation, though you will definitely want to get an early morning or late afternoon tee time if you visit during the height of summer.

Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village

The name perhaps says it all. This is a golf resort that also features excellent accommodations. Rooms come with either a view of the resort area or the golf course. Rooms feature a wet bar, big screen TV and wireless Internet for an additional fee. The outdoor pool is heated and you can also soothe muscles in a whirlpool. The fitness center includes treadmills, cardio equipment and weight machines. The spa specializes in a series of treatments including massage, facials, and therapy baths. Two golf course are located on the property, including the Slammer and Squire course that was designed with consultation from legends Gene Sarazen and Sam Snead.

La Fiesta Ocean Inn and Suites

If you would prefer a view of the Atlantic Ocean instead of a golf course, consider the townhouse suites at this hotel. In addition to scenic views, these rooms are spacious and filled with features such as a sleeper sofa, 27-inch TV, microwave, and granite wet bar. While the townhouse suites sleep as many as five, romantic couples should consider the more intimate suites that contain a Jauzzi and fireplace. The second-oldest historic district in America is just minutes away and the Atlantic Ocean is right across the street. The World Golf Hall of Fame is a 30-minute drive away.
