The Ritz-Carlton is the highest rated hotel in the quarter with its 4-1/2 stars. Located off Canal Street, the Ritz offers a spa, restaurant and all the amenities that come standard with the Ritz-Carlton name. The only drawback is its distance from local attractions, as it sits on the edge of the French Quarter. Most of these attractions can be reached after a walk of about 15 minutes.
