The French Quarter in New Orleans, known in French as the "Vieux Carré," is generally recognized as the most famous and oldest neighborhood in the city. This section of the city dates back to its founding in the early 18th century; at that time, the French Quarter was the center of the city. Including approximately 78 square blocks, the entire neighborhood is considered a National Historic Landmark. In and around the city of New Orleans are many golf courses, including TPC Louisiana, allowing you to golf during the day and relax or enjoy the night life in the historical French Quarter at night.
