John Wayne Airport
The John Wayne Airport is located in nearby Irvine, California. The airport is approximately 12 miles away from Disneyland. It is perhaps the most convenient airport for Disneyland guests because there are several area hotels that will send free shuttles to the airport to pick up guests. Also, this airport is close enough that taking a cab likely would not be too expensive. The airport also has several car rental counters if you would rather drive to your hotel. If you are looking for a flight that goes to or leaves from John Wayne Airport, enter "SNA" in the airport code box. Upon arriving in Anaheim, you can play a round at the Coyote Hills Golf Course, which is about 9 miles from Disneyland.

Los Angeles International Airport
Because the Los Angeles International Airport is the largest airport in Southern California, hundreds of flights depart and arrive there daily. Thanks to the frequency of flights, it often can be easier to find a good deal flying through this airport. Although there also are Disneyland hotels that have shuttles that service this airport, they are less common because the airport is 35 miles away from Disneyland. The airport does, however, have numerous car rental counters. The airport code you should use when searching for flights from this airport is "LAX." There are several golf courses in between Los Angeles and Anaheim. When you reach Disneyland, you may want to make time to golf at the 18-hole course at the Anaheim Hills Golf Club.

Long Beach Municipal Airport
Although Long Beach Municipal Airport is much closer to Disneyland--18 miles--than the Los Angeles International Airport is, it may be hard to find a good deal flying to or from this airport because it does not have the traffic volume that John Wayne or LAX have. This airport's code is LGB. Once you arrive in Anaheim you can golf at the 18-hole Dad Miller Golf Course.

Ontario Airport
The Ontario Airport also is not as large as some other airports in Southern California, however, it is serviced by several major airlines, making it possible to find a good deal flying to or from this airport. Of course, you need to make arrangements for transportation when you leave or arrive at the airport, which is more than 30 miles from Disneyland. The airport's code is ONT. If you are going to be in Ontario, you may want to make time to golf at Whispering Lakes Golf Course, which is considered to be one of the top golf courses in the country.

Bob Hope Airport
Flying to or from the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank is an option, but it is probably the least desirable airport within 50 miles of Disneyland because it is a significant distance away (40 miles), and there are not as many airlines that fly through it. Use the airport code BUR to search for flights that travel to Burbank. If you plan to stay in Burbank for a couple of days before going to Anaheim, you may want to golf at the Lakeside Golf Course, an 18-hole, par-70 course in the center of the city.
