The Harding and Wilson Municipal golf courses are two medium-length, public golf courses located 15 miles from the center of Los Angeles. Although each course is in the mid-6,000s for yardage, each offers a challenging round that can be enjoyed for a moderate price. Lost Canyons Golf Club
The Lost Canyons Golf Club is a public golf facility located in Simi Valley, within 30 minutes of L.A., and has two 18-hole courses available for play. The courses were designed by Pete Dye with Masters champion Fred Couples assisting and feature a serene golf experience not normally found in the Los Angeles area. The courses are laid out in context of the Santa Susana Mountains and make use of the natural landscape. Each of the courses is moderately priced.

Los Serranos Golf and Country Club
The Los Serranos Golf and Country Club is located in the heart of the beautiful Chino Hills countryside. The course, which recently underwent renovation, has been a qualifier for the Los Angeles Open. The clubhouse features a full-service banquet facility for use during special events or tournaments. Playing from one of the black tees, you'll face one of the longest courses in the state of California. Make your tee times at least a week in advance for play on the weekends or holidays.
