Miniature Golf
Most children love to act like mom and dad. Purchase a plastic children's golf set and allow your children to play their own game of golf. Most inexpensive children's golf sets come with an easy-to-wheel caddy, two to three golf clubs, a few colored golf balls and tees. This kid's game doesn't take up much room and will be fun for all.
Name It Ball
This activity can be fun no matter how many children you have. This game only uses a ball and your brain. The children need to stand in a circle with one child starting out with a medium-sized rubber ball. Once the group agrees on a category, such as candy bars, the person throws the ball to someone else in the circle. Whoever the ball goes to will say a name in that category, such as Snickers.
Red Light, Green Light
This traditional game is one that most adults remember as kids. This game requires no equipment and can relieve your kids' energy while you enjoy a game of golf. One child chooses to be "it" and receives the part of being the stop light. The other children stand about 20 feet away. The stop-light child calls out "green light," and all of the kids move toward the person. When the child calls out "red light," they must stop or go back to the beginning. Whichever child makes it to the stop light first wins.
