The Sahara
The Sahara is another of Las Vegas' historic north Strip casino hotels. Frst opened to the public in 1952, the hotel offers 1,720 rooms decorated with a Moroccan theme. The 5,000-square-foot pool features 13 private cabanas for rent, circular fountains, a snack bar that also serves cocktails, and a year-round spa.
If you enjoy NASCAR auto racing, check out the NASCAR Entertainment Center toward the rear of the casino. There you will find the CyberSpeedway simulator, which lets you experience how it feels to race a stock car at over 200 miles per hour. For adrenaline junkies who want even more of a rush, there is the Speed roller coaster that takes riders through a series of loops at high speed.

Stratosphere
The Stratosphere tower is the tallest U.S. structure west of the Mississippi River. The view of Las Vegas from the observation deck at the top is unmatched and there is even a restaurant that revolves 360 degrees while you eat. Golfers who want to get their hearts racing will enjoy the X Scream, Big Shot and Insanity thrill rides that shoot guests into the air or dangle them off the side of the tower.
Inside the building is an 80,000-square-foot casino, the American Superstars celebrity impersonator show, five bars and five restaurants.
