Hotels on Kauai
You'll quickly see why Kauai is nicknamed Hawaii's Garden Isle when you view the incredible natural beauty of this island from its many scenic golf courses. The hotels on Kauai cater to tourists and offer excellent service to travelers. Many of Kauai's hotels are also conveniently located near the island's numerous courses.

Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa

This large hotel offers 602 rooms that include amenities like a private lanai, a 36-inch TV and Portico bath products. Rooms feature mountain views, ocean views and garden views. The Anara spa offers ancient Hawaiian healing methods as well as massage and traditional facial and body treatments. In addition to the well-maintained Robert Trent Jones golf course, you can also take advantage of the Hyatt's golf lessons, provided by PGA professionals.

Hanalei Colony Resort

The Hanalei Colony resort, located on the north shore of Kauai, is perfect for nature lovers. Again, you'll enjoy your own private lanai to take in the magnificent splendor of Kauai. You won't find any televisions, stereos or even phones at this getaway resort. Instead, enjoy the sight of humpback whales, nearby waterfalls or the incredible sunrise over Hanalei Bay. Rooms are stocked with a full kitchen and there is also a barbecue area. Two highly rated golf courses at Princeville Golf & Country Club are just minutes away.

Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club

Your best drive could probably carry a golf ball from this hotel to the nearby airport. In addition to a convenient location, the Marriott is a great place to stay for those who love swimming but dislike the ocean--the hotel is home to an extraordinary pool that surrounds an island of shady palm trees. The rooms are on the small side, but feature marble baths, mini-refrigerators and a TV. The fitness center contains equipment for those who enjoy aerobic training or weight training. The spa offers everything from massages to waxing treatments. Best of all, this Marriott is home to two golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus. The Kiele course meanders through groves of trees as you work your way toward a lagoon. The Maile course is a Scottish-style links course with plenty of rolling hills to keep you focused.
