Little America Hotel
The Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City is not only close to several restaurants and shopping centers, but it also is a 22-time recipient of the AAA four-diamond award. Although the hotel is called Little America, there is really nothing little about it. This hotel features 850 guest rooms in a 17-story tower, making it one of the biggest hotels in Salt Lake City. Guests can choose from garden or courtside rooms. If you want a place to relax, visit the hotel's swimming pool, which the hotel claims is the biggest swimming pool in a Salt Lake City hotel. The hotel also includes a sauna, a Jacuzzi, an exercise room and a beauty salon. Although you could visit one of the nearby restaurants to dine, you do not need to because there are two restaurants inside the hotel. There are dozens of golf courses within 15 minutes of the hotel. If you want to golf in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, you can visit the 18-hole, par-71 Bountiful Ridge Golf Course, which is about 10 miles north of Salt Lake City.
