Kayenta, Arizona is a sleepy little town of around 5,600 residents, according to the city's data website. However, they have a variety of activities for visitors to their little part of the world. Monument Valley is the biggest tourist attraction along with many Native American museums and cultural events, but if golfers want to stay there, they'll have to travel a short distance to Show Low or Pinetop to find some of the best golf courses around the monument.

Best Western Wetherill Inn is located at the entrance to Monument Valley, and near the Navajo Code Talker Exhibition. Each of the rooms has cable television with Showtime and high-speed Internet service. The hotel also serves each guest a continental breakfast. The indoor pool area is a nice place to relax or you can do some shopping a the gift shop located in the lobby. The hotel offers special discounts to AAA and AARP members as well as having a romance package couples may want, but there is no discounts or packages for golfers.

Hampton Inn is designed in an adobe style with each room decorated in Native American colors. The guests will only get the basics in the hotel rooms, but they do have a few extras like beverages and breakfast which are complimentary. A coin laundry, room service, safe deposit boxes and a clothing store is also available. The hotel does provide cribs for their smaller guests and it is a pet-friendly hotel with limitations. The hotel does not have any specials for golfers, but does provide a family discount package, romance package or meal package that may interest you.
