Ocala International Airport
Located in the city of Ocala, the Ocala International Airport is a civil aviation facility that serves private aircraft and has no commercial carriers. Located 35 miles from Ocala, in neighboring Gainesville, the Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) is served by regional jets from commercial carriers Delta and US Airways and is open to private planes. National rental-car agencies Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National have desks at the airport, which is also served by local taxi and limo agencies. The airport has two runways, the longest of which is 7,503 feet.

Orlando International Airport
A little over an hour's drive from Ocala is the Orlando International Airport (MCO), the closest major airport to Ocala. The Orlando airport is serviced by most major commercial and discount carriers and has a dedicated international terminal with customs service. The airport also welcomes private planes at its Executive Airport facility. Most major rental car agencies have desks at Orlando International, and the airport is also served by Orlando's local public transit buses as well as taxis and limos.
