Inexpensive Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas is one of the world's top golf destinations. Happily, it offers more hotel rooms than any other city. The tremendous number of hotel rooms leads to fierce competition between hotels and low room rates for visitors. It is no longer necessary to stay far away from the Las Vegas Strip if you want an inexpensive hotel room.

Sahara

The Sahara is one of the oldest casino hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, having first opened in 1952. Today, the north end of the Strip has become deserted, with large gaps left by the implosion of the New Frontier, Stardust and Westward Ho. This has led to great room deals such vintage casinos as the Sahara and the Riviera.

The Sahara has a Las Vegas Monorail station and is a Deuce double-decker bus stop, so it's easy to get around to the rest of the city. Fans of thrill rides or NASCAR racing will enjoy the Sahara's NASCAR Entertainment Center, which includes the CyberSpeedway racing simulator, Speed roller coaster, and displays of actual cars used in past races.

Bill's Gamblin' Hall

Bill's Gamblin' Hall is the best bargain on the Strip, with a great location at Flamingo and Las Vegas Boulevard that puts you right in the middle of the action at a reasonable price. Bill's is the home of the free "Big Elvis" show, performed by Pete Vallee on weekdays at 3, 5 and 6:30 p.m. While it may be small, the casino contains a great steakhouse and one of Las Vegas' longest-running nightclubs in Drai's After Hours. The 24-hour Victorian Cafe is a favorite among bargain-hunters for its late-night specials.
