Yacht Club
Disney's Yacht Club Resort is as close as you can get to Epcot. You can either use the walkway from the hotel or take one of the buses to get to the park. The Yacht Club is one of the more upscale resorts, and the spacious rooms reflect the cost. This hotel also has a fitness room and a large number of pools. It is on Stormalong Bay. As a guest at a Disney resort, you are also entitled to free taxi service for you and your clubs to any golf course inside Disney World.

Boardwalk Resort
The Boardwalk is also close enough to get to Epcot via walkway, but a much more pleasurable way to get from this resort to that theme park is a short ride on a scenic water ferry. The same ferry will also transport you to Disney Hollywood. Luxury features at this high-end resort include private balconies, wine, cheese and cordials delivered to your room, a refrigerator, DVD player, satellite television and a big whirlpool tub. The Muscles & Bustles Health Club features state-of-the-art exercise equipment, and the spa is a full-service salon. There are three large hotels at the Boardwalk as well as a jogging trail and tennis courts. Just down the road you can enjoy all of the fun at Disney's Wide World of Sports.

Caribbean Beach Resort
Slightly farther from Epcot but also more moderately priced is the Caribbean Beach Resort. Epcot is just a few minutes' ride on the Disney bus, and Lake Buena Vista golf course is just a few minutes in the other direction. Other features that make this Disney resort worthwhile are the six pools, pizza delivery to your room, diverse food court, jogging trail and arcade. While the Caribbean is close to Epcot, Disney Hollywood, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney, the ride to the Magic Kingdom is one of the longest in the park, so it may not be the best choice for families with younger children.
