El Cortez
The longest continuously running hotel-casino in Las Vegas, the El Cortez is on the eastern section of Fremont Street. Guest rooms are themed, and you may select from rooms designed for romance that include a whirlpool tub or a room decorated in 1940s vintage style. There is also a value option, with fewer amenities and space. The hotel casino is classic Las Vegas style with table games, slots, a keno lounge and sports book, and it is the only place downtown to play seven-card stud. Dining options range from fine dining to a food court, but you may also have food delivered to your gaming table through the "eC Gambling Gourmet."
