Disney World Downtown Disney Hotels

Disney World Downtown Disney Hotels
While there are more than 20 hotels inside the Disney World Resort, some people may prefer to stay at one of the hotels located in the Downtown Disney area, a restaurant and shopping center operated by Disney. Guests at these hotels are still close enough to the park and to Disney World's five golf courses.

Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel

Although the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel features executive rooms and suites, most guests will find that even a standard room with two queen beds is more than adequate. This room features a furnished balcony where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Downtown Disney. The bathroom features a vanity sink, as well as a second vanity with a makeup mirror. Each room has Internet access and a video-game console. You can golf at Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, an 18-hole course that has hosted PGA and LPGA events.

Doubletree Guest Suites

The Doubletree Guest Suites is the the only hotel in the Downtown Disney area that offers only suites. Guests who stay here will not regret opting for a hotel outside of the park. The Doubletree offers guests complimentary transportation to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. Every suite in the hotel includes two flat-screen LCD TVs, a microwave, a refrigerator, Wi-Fi access and in-room movies and video games. Guests who stay here can golf at Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course, an 18-hole, par-72 course.

Hilton Hotel

The Hilton Hotel in Downtown Disney is a AAA-rated, four-diamond hotel that offers complimentary shuttle service to all of the Disney theme parks, including the water parks. Guest rooms include one king-sized bed or two double beds. The hotel's suites include the same bedding, as well as sofa beds. Although the Downtown Disney area features scores of restaurants, you can eat without even needing to leave your hotel thanks to the handful of restaurants located inside the hotel. One of the most fun is Benihana, a Japanese teppanyaki-style restaurant where you can watch a master chef prepare your meal on an hibachi grill. You can golf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, which is a nine-hole, family friendly course.
