Once upon a time, Texas Stadium in Irving ranked among the most popular stadiums in the National Football League. Previously home to the Dallas Cowboys--who have since moved to Cowboys Stadium in Arlington--Texas Stadium is still an attraction in itself, with its rich history and famous hole in the roof. The city of Irving features a bevy of nearby lodging and area golf courses for those visiting the area.
