Vacationing in Maui is a golfer's dream come true. The weather is a constant balmy 80 degrees year round with only a few degrees' variation. While it may rain every few days, the rain doesn't last long and it keeps those greens, well, green. The official rainy season is December through March, but even then there are hours of sunshine nearly every day. With more than 17 golf courses scattered between Maui and Lanai, any beachfront hotel in those areas would be a golfer's paradise.
Maui
Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa is on Wailea Beach. Golfers with young families will find no lack of entertainment at the resort with its pools, slides and special activities for families at Camp Wailea. The 780-room hotel may be huge, but the staff acts like there is no one more important than you.
Besides the pools, there is a spa presenting a full array of treatments and massages. There's not just one restaurant but six and not just one golf course but three. And if somehow you get tired of golf, there's always the tennis courts.
