Maui Beach Front Hotels

Maui Beach Front Hotels
Vacationing in Maui is a golfer's dream come true. The weather is a constant balmy 80 degrees year round with only a few degrees' variation. While it may rain every few days, the rain doesn't last long and it keeps those greens, well, green. The official rainy season is December through March, but even then there are hours of sunshine nearly every day. With more than 17 golf courses scattered between Maui and Lanai, any beachfront hotel in those areas would be a golfer's paradise.

Maui

Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa is on Wailea Beach. Golfers with young families will find no lack of entertainment at the resort with its pools, slides and special activities for families at Camp Wailea. The 780-room hotel may be huge, but the staff acts like there is no one more important than you.

Besides the pools, there is a spa presenting a full array of treatments and massages. There's not just one restaurant but six and not just one golf course but three. And if somehow you get tired of golf, there's always the tennis courts.

Lanai

Four Seasons Lana'i at Manele Bay is right on the water's edge bordered by a marine preserve on one side. Entering the lobby, visitors get a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Two golf courses are on site. The resort has 236 rooms, including 21 suites decorated in a tropically influenced Asian style. Each room has a private balcony or terrace with views of the ocean, gardens or golf course.

Hulopo'e Court, which presents traditional Hawaiian food as well as dishes from Japan, the Philippines and Polynesian cultures, is open for breakfast and lunch.

Hana Hideaway

Hotel Hana Maui is in Hana, a secluded community with none of the hustle and bustle of the five-star beach front resorts. It retains the charm, elegance and hospitality of old Hawaii. The rooms are radio and television free, but if you must stay wired in those facilities and Internet service are provided in The Club Room. Dining facilities include Ka'uiki, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the Paniolo Bar, offering lighter fare and longer hours.
