Winter Park is a small resort town in Grand County, Colorado, 9,000 feet above sea level in the Rocky Mountains. The town is surrounded by Arapaho National Forest and vast areas of mountain wilderness. There are several fine golf courses within easy reach of Winter Park, including the Headwaters Golf Course designed by Nicklaus Design Group. In the summer, golf, mini-golf, hiking and cycling are popular, but in winter months skiing and other snow activities take over. Winter Park is a small town, but it offers a lot of hotel choices to visitors of all budgets.
