Hotels in the Pensacola, Florida Area

Hotels in the Pensacola, Florida Area
Pensacola is as far as you can go westward along the Florida panhandle before you run into Alabama. Staying at a hotel in Pensacola means staying in the very first European settlement in the New World. Today, it also means staying where you can bake in the sun on sugary white sand or play golf on courses with alligators or scenic views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Crowne Plaza Grand Hotel

The Crown Plaza Grand Hotel is the tallest building in downtown Pensacola and casts a long shadow over the Civic Center located next door. Pensacola Beach is just a 10-minute drive away except during summer when traffic may be backed up over the Three Mile Bridge. There are 210 spacious guest rooms and 10 suites, including the ultradeluxe Presidential suite. The outdoor pool is heated, the hotel has a fitness center and the 1912 restaurant is highly regarded. Osceola Municipal Golf Course is less than five miles away.

Courtyard by Marriott

Courtyard by Marriott is just down the road from the Crowne Plaza, placing you close to the beaches and the Civic Center. The morning breakfast service is excellent, as is the fitness center. The pool is just a long rectangle, but will be a life saver if you dare to go golfing at the height of Pensacola's ultra-humid summer. Marcus Pointe Golf Club is less than seven miles from the Courtyard.
