Breakfast
Before a game of golf, enjoy a fresh, savory breakfast at Blackboard Bistro in Seal Beach. Try a fluffy three-egg omelet such as the Ranchero with ground beef, green onions and ortega chilies, or the Round the World with ham, bacon, sausage and mushrooms. The Bistro Bennys are also popular---eggs and hollandaise sauce with choices such as Canadian bacon, or chili and hash.
Then there are the tasty carbs, such as banana or chocolate chip pancakes, or French toast stuffed with blueberries and cream cheese. On the lighter side, you'll find fresh fruit with granola, yogurt or both.

Lunch
The Crab Cooker has been attracting lunch crowds for more than 50 years with its fresh seafood, hot clam chowder and home-baked bread and breadsticks. You may just want to fill up on the appetizers, including king crab claws with drawn butter; Maryland-style crab cakes; and oysters on the half shell. But you'll probably want to leave room for an inviting entree, too. Choices include soft-shell crab; Atlantic salmon fillet; and shrimp or scallops interspersed with bacon on skewers. The plates come with cole slaw or fresh tomatoes, plus rice pilaf or the always-popular Romano potatoes.

Dinner
Head to Las Brisas in Laguna Beach for dinner and a stunning view of the Pacific. If you're so inclined, start with a specialty margarita or martini, and proceed to the delicious cuisine of the Mexican Riviera. Appetizers include shrimp with tequila cocktail sauce; fried squid with lemon-garlic butter; and chopped tuna with papaya-cucumber slaw. For your next course, try the black bean soup with bacon, or the house salad with mango and crab.
It's hard to decide among the enticing entrees. Crowd pleasers include grilled halibut with roasted tomatillo sauce; broiled sea bass with a chili-paste glaze; and skewers with prawns, lobster and swordfish. Meat eaters enjoy the filet mignon with tequila-truffle glaze, and veal medallions with chanterelle sauce.
