The Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel is near all the major roads leading into and out of the Des Moines area as well as Des Moines International Airport. In fact, the hotel offers shuttle service to the airport and other destinations within three miles of the hotel. The hotel went through a multimillion dollar renovation in 2005 and it shows in the comfortable ambiance of the rooms, which include down comforters and pillows, a Sheraton Sweep Sleeper bed and Wi-Fi in every room (although it's not free). There's also a well-equipped fitness center, complete with free weights, an indoor pool and an outdoor sundeck for relaxation.
