Hotels and Resorts in Austin, Texas

Hotels and Resorts in Austin, Texas
Austin, Texas, is an eclectic city between Dallas and San Antonio. Residents have embraced the "Keep Austin Weird" mantra, which is evident from the quirky shops and restaurants in the city. Austin is popular with tourists looking for outdoor recreational activities and for odd attractions, such as the bars under the Congress Bridge. If you are in Austin on a golf vacation, you can find plenty of non-weird hotels and resorts in the area.

Barton Creek Resort & Spa

The Barton Creek Resort & Spa is a luxury resort with a spa, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, three restaurants, a tennis court and four championship golf courses. The 8212 Wine Bar & Grill is open for lunch and dinner and serves local cuisine. The Hill Country Dining Room serves local cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The golf courses were designed by Palmer, Fazio and Crenshaw. Golf Digest awarded the Barton Creek Resort & Spa the "Green Star Award" in October 2009 for being one of the best environmental resorts in the United States.
