Top 10 Airlines Flying to Hawaii
The typical flight to Hawaii lasts at least five hours depending on where you are flying from. There are several things to consider before choosing an airline: how often flights are delayed, the friendliness of the flight staff and fees for your luggage, including your golf bag. Luckily, there are many airlines that can fly you off to Hawaii and its gorgeous courses.

Domestic Airlines

American Airlines offers several flights to Hawaii from numerous cities in the United States every day. If you purchase a full-fare economy ticket and only have a carry-on, your golf bag can be considered your one free checked bag as long as it is less than 70 lbs., has standard golf equipment (14 clubs, 12 golf balls and a pair of golf shoes).

United Airlines offers daily flights into four Hawaii airports and charges $20 for the first bag and $30 for the second, if you're in economy class and not a frequent flyer. Golf bags in a full length cover and less than 50 lbs. can replace a regular suitcase at no extra charge.

Unless you are flying first class or a frequent flyer, US Airways will charge you $25 for your first bag and $35 for your second. The good news is your golf bag will not be charged extra if it is less than 50 lbs. The standard golf bag and equipment is allowed along with a pull cart, only if it is attached to the bag.
