Rainbow Falls
Likely the oldest mini golf course in Myrtle Beach, Rainbow Falls has statues of dinosaurs and castles as well as shark "attacking" from the water and an octopus lounging in a lake. The course is not as modern as others in town, but gives you the feel of the old-time mini golf courses that featured funky, larger-than-life characters scattered around the holes. The course is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. from March to December.

Jungle Safari
Jungle Safari has big greens and plenty of life-sized animal sculptures, including elephants, giraffes and zebras. The course itself also has rocks and water, but is little less challenging than some of the other courses in the area. An older course, it's great for kids, who will enjoy the scenery, but also be able to take a whack at the ball on the big greens. Hours vary depending on the season.

Mount Atlanticus Minotaur Goff
This complex, which is designed to look like the lost city of Atlantis, has 36 holes that go vertical. Built on the site of a former department store in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach, the Minotaur and Conch courses both begin indoors and golfers travel up five stories to elevated holes outdoors. The view at the top of the complex encompasses downtown Myrtle Beach and the ocean. Hours vary depending on the season.
