Top 5 Hotels in Vegas
It doesn't get much better than this--sun, sand, gambling and golf. Las Vegas isn't just for gamblers anymore, it's rapidly turning into one of the most popular golf destinations in the world. Whether you're at a hotel on the strip or several miles down the road, be ready to play 18 after you hit 21.

Wynn Las Vegas

This 215-acre resort features 2,716 rooms and is the only hotel on the strip with its own golf course. The Wynn Golf Course was designed by Steve Wynn and Steve Fazio. The 7,042-yard course features almost 5,000 feet of streams and the backdrop on No.18 just may be the best sight in Vegas: A towering 40-foot sheet waterfall that flows behind the green.

The Venetian

The Venetian is all about dining, shopping and space--lots and lots of space. A lake sits in front of the entrance of this 4,049-room luxury resort while gondola rides are offered on the second-floor canals. Dine at any of the 20 high-end restaurants, including Valentino, or visit the 500,000-square foot Grand Canal Shoppes. The Venetian doesn't offer any exclusive golf packages, but it does have in-house entertainment, which includes day beds at Tao Beach and the go-go dancers at Tao nightclub.

Mandalay Bay

If you're looking to get wet, you may want to consider staying at Mandalay Bay. Even if you've spent all day in the drink or in the sand on the golf course, the beach at Mandalay Bay will be a welcome sight. The 11-acre water world features three pools--one topless--a lazy river, imported white sand, beach bar and two restaurants. Mandalay Bay also offers exclusive deals to the Bali Hali Golf Course, which is the only public course on the Vegas Strip. It features more than 100,000 tropical plants.

Bellagio

This Vegas resort is most famous for its eight-acre lake guarding its entrance, which houses the Fountains of Bellagio. More than 1,200 nozzles make up the Fountains, which dance to music and are highlighted by more than 4,500 lights. The hotel offers one of the better sports books in Vegas, but get there early on golf weekends to scoop up the prized La-Z-Boys in front of the giant, mounted flat-screen TVs.

JW Marriott Las Vegas

You don't have to stay on the Strip to have a great time in Vegas, especially if you're just here for a round of golf. The JW Marriott is just 15 minutes from the Strip and overlooks The Tournament Players Club Las Vegas. The hotel has first-rate deals with the championship mountain course, but make sure to hit up the hotel's 40,000-square foot salon and spa afterward.
