In order to loosen up stiff neck muscles, move your left ear toward your left shoulder. Slowly lift your head and move your right ear to your right shoulder. Repeat this move 10 times. Do the same by starting with your right ear close to your right shoulder.
Shoulder Shrugs
Take 5 lb. dumbbells in each hand. While standing straight up and holding the weights with your hands at your sides, shrug your shoulders up about 3 inches and slowly lower them. Repeat this 10 times.
Isometric Exercise
Standing straight up, put your left hand on the left side of your head. Try to move your hand by pressing with your head for three seconds. You should supply sufficient resistance so your head does not move. Repeat this 10 times, then do the same on the right side.
