This 27-hole golf course, located in a former nature preserve, is five minutes from downtown Myrtle Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Burroughs and Chapman Art Museum
The Burroughs museum, located across from Springmaid Pier in Myrtle Beach, contains visual art displays. There's a permanent collection, education programs, workshops and lectures. The museum has kids' art and adult classes. The "Bishop Collection of Antique Maps and Prints," part of the permanent collection, displays maps from 1606 to 1863.
