The Big Island
Hawaii, the largest of the islands, is the official name, but it goes by its nickname, the Big Island, to differentiate it from the name of state. In comparison to the other islands, Hawaii really is quite large. This island is most notably marked by two natural attractions that are very hard to miss, the volcanoes of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. This is also the home of the Kona Coast, famous for its coffee. Challenging golf courses on Hawaii include those at Kona Country Club and Waikola Village.
