The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center is a great place to stay if you want to be near Houston and its attractions, but not necessarily right inside of it. Because the resort is a conference center, you may come here for a conference; however, many people come simply to relax. The resort makes it easy to do this thanks to its spa facility. Guests who visit the spa can rejuvenate themselves with aromatherapy and Swedish massage sessions that are available. A little time in the spa might serve you well if you take advantage of the resort's two 18-hole golf courses. The Panther Trail and Oaks courses are lined with trees and feature wide fairways. The Intercontinental Houston is one of the larger hotels in the city. The hotel includes 485 guest rooms that are spread throughout 23 floors. The hotel has 285 single-bed rooms and 200 double-bed rooms. The top floors are reserved for executives and feature suites. The hotel has a health and fitness center, a spa, a gift shop, live bands, an outdoor pool and two restaurants. The hotel is only about five miles from the Hermann Park Golf Course.
