Top Atlanta Hotels
Atlanta is a sprawling metropolis that continues to swallow outlying communities at a rapid pace. Anyone who has not been to Atlanta recently would have trouble recognizing it today. While substantial chunks of real estate have been transformed into both commercial and residential neighborhoods, Atlanta still offers plenty of opportunities for golfers. Because you will be spending a considerable portion of your visit sitting in traffic, a comfortable hotel needs to be at the top of your list.

Four Seasons

The Four Seasons is a massive tower in the midtown section of Atlanta. The rooms are spacious and lavishly furnished, and include marble bathrooms. The fitness center is technologically advanced and comes with an indoor Olympic-sized pool. Try the full spa treatment for a bad back caused by driving on the course or around I-285. The Par 75 restaurant features fine dining and the Park 75 lounge is a nice play to relax after a long day. Amenities include a minibar, room safe and laundry service.

Ritz Carlton

The Ritz Carlton is in the Buckhead section of Atlanta. The Ritz has a more European than Southern style and offers goose down pillows, Bulgari bath products and 400-count thread linens. The standard rooms are fairly small, but the suites range from 720 to 1,800 square feet. Many rooms feature views of Atlanta's continually growing skyline. The Ritz Carlton hosts two respected restaurants. The Cafe specializes in casual dining, while the Dining Room offers French and Asian cuisine.

Marriott Evergreen Conference Resort

This resort hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Atlanta, in the Stone Mountain community. The resort features two golf courses: Lakemont at Stone Mountain and Stonemont at Stone Mountain. These are both 18-hole par-72 courses that feature scenic views, including Stone Mountain itself. Both courses also feature a driving range range and putting green. The outdoor swimming pool is enormous, and other recreation includes biking and hiking trails, volleyball and 17 tennis courts. The Waterside Restaurant provides views of the mountain and lake while serving food such as quail eggs and grits. Another advantage to staying here is the proximity to Stone Mountain Park.
