Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
The most expensive place to stay inside Disney World is the Grand Florida Resort and Spa. It features five restaurants, including a fine-dining option, Victoria and Albert's. The outdoor pool is heated for a nice relaxing swim after a hard day on the links. Other amenities include a fitness center, full-service spa, a business center and tennis courts. Most importantly, it's conveniently close to Disney's golf courses.

Saratoga Springs Resort
Saratoga Springs Resort is another great one for golfers. The Lake Buena Vista Golf Course lies on 65 acres, making this one of the most convenient hotels for golfers at Disney World. If you get bored on the links but still want some outdoor fun that avoids the theme parks, check out the tennis courts. The hotel also offers the scenic convenience of a ferry ride over to Downtown Disney for shopping, eating and entertainment.

Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Lodge is a perfect hotel for those who want to be away from the Disney crowds. This resort is situated off by itself, which makes it great for those seeking a bit of privacy, but at the cost of a long journey to get to the theme parks. If you are at Disney primarily for golf and recreation, however, this may not present a disadvantage. The villas are quite spacious, the swimming area is one of the most impressive at Disney World, entertainment at the lodge includes a geyser and night water pageants, and you have a choice of three restaurants and two lounges. You can get some exercise either at the fully stocked fitness center or by taking advantage of the hiking and biking trails at the Wilderness Lodge Park.

Polynesian Resort
The best thing about the Polynesian Resort is that it is close to the Palm and Magnolia Golf Courses. The second best thing is the Seven Seas lagoon, which pleases both kids and adults. The Disney monorail stops right at the hotel, allowing easy access to the Magic Kingdom. It features a Hawaiian theme and great restaurants.
