Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure
Buy a multiple-day Park Hopper pass so you have time enough to see and do everything in the original Magic Kingdom and Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim. Then spend a day comparing characters at Venice Beach. Stroll along the boardwalk, peek into the shops, see the weightlifters and skate boarders, then find a seat in the shade and watch this amazing world pass by. Venice is southern California at its most colorful. (Your hosts at Disney suggest two golf courses for their guests that are relatively close to the park, Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton and Black Gold Golf Course in Yorba Linda.)
Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida
The great thing about Walt Disney World in Orlando is the number of parks all gathered in one place. Here, you'll find the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. In addition, you can play at Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon adventure water parks and experience the special Cirque du Soleil performance, La Nouba, created just for Disney. Walt Disney World offers lodging from camp sites to high-end resorts, as well as access to five different Disney golf courses. You won't need to leave the park until your vacation is over.
Disneyland Resort Paris
When the young members of your entourage threaten to stage an open rebellion if they are forced to endure one more museum, take time off from your grand tour and visit Disneyland Resort Paris, sometimes called EuroDisney. Depending on the time of year, you can golf the Disney course, ice skate in front of Disney's Hotel New York, or paddle a canoe at Disney's Marina del Rey. You may be able to please everyone if you make Disneyland Paris your travel headquarters and plan visits to medieval castles and towns nearby.
Hong Kong Disneyland
At Hong Kong Disneyland, you'll find some old favorites (It's a Small World and Sleeping Beauty's Castle in FantasyLand) along with novel attractions like the Liki Tikis and Demon Jungle in AdventureLand. For an international visitor, however, the real attractions lie outside the park. To help you identify, find and enjoy the unique and fascinating cultural sites in and around Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Tourism Board has created some beautiful guides.
