Stone Mountains
Visit Stone Mountain and see the biggest visible piece of granite in the world. The park created around this mountain includes fishing, golf, swimming and other fun activities. There is a 1870s-style town with people showing off their skills, a high ropes course, railroad and a very popular laser show in the evening. Kids and adults alike will have fun exploring the nature trails or crossing the covered bridge. Plus there are two golf courses within the park at Stone Mountain Golf Club. The courses make there way through woods and by the lake giving you wonderful views of the area. Golf instructors are on site for anyone who needs help and junior camps are available during certain times of year.

Savannah
Savannah sits on the coast of Georgia and has more than 1,000 homes located inside its historic district. The beauty of this city and its obvious old south charm will envelop you as you travel the streets touring homes and businesses or viewing the old oaks covered in Spanish moss. There is plenty of shopping to do and an old trolley system that will take you around town. While in the area, stay at certain hotels such as Doubletree or Best Western and you will be pleased with the offer of a golf package including a couple of rounds at the Southbridge Golf Club. The course, designed by Rees Jones, works its way through woodlands of oak and pine to give you a challenging day of play. If you are staying elsewhere, try your hand at Henderson Golf Club, a public course recognized by Golf Digest as Best New Public Golf Course in Georgia in 1995. The club offers you a par 71, 18-hole course with five tee off locations that has played host to multiple state PGA events.

Atlanta
If you like big city life, then Atlanta is the place for you to visit. With places to see such as the Olympic Park, World of Coke, professional sports, museums and Zoo Atlanta there is so much to see and do that you won't sit down all day. The World of Coke takes you on a tour through history of one of the most popular sodas in the world, plus a sampling of other drinks the company sells around the world. Centennial Olympic Park has an ice rink, a fountain for kids to play in, playgrounds, gardens and cafe for all to enjoy, plus a memorial for the victims of the 1996 Olympic Park bombing. If you are looking for a little activity while in town visiting, there are many golf courses surrounding the city such as Bobby Jones. This course is one of four owned by the city. It is difficult to play because of its sharp turns and hills. There are plenty of other golf clubs around the city both private and public that are sure to test your skills.
