Sedona, Arizona, is known for its red rock canyons and spectacular scenery, and there are many outdoor activities to choose from when visiting the area. Whether you prefer hiking, mountain biking or playing a round of golf, Sedona has something for everyone including day spas and health spas to rejuvenate the body. If you manage to leave the comfort of whichever spa you are staying at, or come down out of the mountains from your adventure, there are many art galleries and shops to visit before you leave.
Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa
Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa is probably the most well-known spa in the area. Guests of the resort enjoy such amenities as Internet access, in-room fireplaces, pool, three on-site eateries and a children's program to keep the little ones entertained. And while the kids are busy, you can enjoy the spa as well as the 18-hole golf course that the resort has to offer. The golf course is a par 71 that has been named "Top 10 Public Course" by Golf Magazine and "Best Par 3 in the State" by Arizona Republic. In the form of fitness, the health spa offers a fitness center, aerobics area, tennis courts and fitness instructors, to name a few. For the more relaxing side aspects, there are saunas, lounge areas, stress classes, massages and skin-care treatments.
