Play Doral
If golfers have a list of the 100 things they wanted to do before they die, playing golf at Doral would be right up there near the top. If it isn't, it should be. The course was redesigned by Raymond Floyd in 1993 and includes some of the most spectacular holes known to golf, including the Blue Monster course which has proven to be both a challenge and a joy for PGA Tour professionals and weekend warriors alike. The course offers golfers the incredible experience of hitting from the same spots and walking in the shoes of nearly every professional golfer since the 1960s. Best of all, you can stay and play at the course with world-class lodging owned by Marriott.

So that should tell you a little something about how good golfers become great and how great golfers keep getting better. The Jim McLean Golf School is located at Doral, so you can kill two birds with one stone, or golf balls, as it may be. Jim McLean is one of the foremost experts on swing mechanics and was voted the PGA National Teacher of the Year in 1994. His methods and instruction have been applied by more than 100 PGA, LPGA and Senior PGA professionals, so getting your game tightened shouldn't be a problem. The lesson includes video swing analysis, range time and course management on beautiful Doral grounds.
