Golf Games
No golf theme party is complete without a backyard mini golf course. If you don't want to dig up your yard, you can improvise golf holes by turning plastic cups on their sides. Use spare boards, children's toys, traffic cones and anything else you have lying around to set up your course and create obstacles. Entertain younger ones by burying golf balls in the sand and challenging them to dig up as many as they can in 30 seconds. Give out golf trophies to the best players.
Dress and Decor
Set the scene by decorating the house with a golf theme. Cut out pictures from old golf magazines of your favorite golfers and paste them up on the wall for homemade decorations. Order golf-themed plates, napkins, cups and invitations. Encourage all of your guests to dress in their goofiest classic golf clothing to get into the spirit.
Other Entertainment
When you're done with mini-golf, have everyone in to watch golf-themed movies. "Caddyshack" and "Happy Gilmore" will keep your guests entertained while they snack. Prepare foods that have a golf pun in them, such as "iced tee" and club sandwiches. You can make simple chocolate golf balls by dipping chocolate balls in powdered sugar.
