List of All Walt Disney Theme Parks
The nice thing about Walt Disney theme parks is that they are spread across the world. This gives you the perfect excuse to take a break from the rides and shows to get in a round of golf at a club you might not otherwise get the opportunity to visit. Many people only think of Disney World's Magic Kingdom and Disneyland when they think of the theme parks, but the reality is that Disney has a great many more theme parks than you might realize.

Disneyland

Disneyland in Anaheim, California, was the first Disney theme park, and it was overseen by Walt Disney himself. Popular attractions at Disneyland include the original Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean rides. Other rides that are shared with Disney World include It's a Small World and the Star Wars-based Star Tours. While the cult favorite Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was controversially retired at Disney World, fans will be happy to know it is very much alive at Disneyland.

California Adventure

Also located in California is Disney's California Adventure. This theme park is based on the history and attractions inside the huge Pacific Coast state. Among the popular attractions at this Disney park include the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the large-screen favorite Soarin' Over California and Paradise Pier. Younger visitors also enjoy the live "High School Musical" tribute based on the successful series of films.

Disney World

Located in Orlando, Florida, Disney World is the comprehensive name given to a collection of several different theme parks, resorts and water parks. The Magic Kingdom is the original park that features many rides also found at Disneyland. Epcot is more educational and features the World Showcase that recreates villages from foreign countries. Disney Hollywood is built around the theme of moviemaking and includes Star Tours and the Great Movie Ride. Animal Kingdom is like a giant zoo filled with rides such as Expedition Everest and Dinosaur: The Ride.

Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea

Tokyo Disneyland was the first Disney park constructed outside America. It features seven themed areas, including many familiar to visitors of the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, such as Frontierland and Tomorrowland. Popular attractions include Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Tours and the Grand Circuit Raceway. Tokyo is also home to DisneySea, a partner theme park with an entirely nautical theme.

Disneyland Paris

Formerly known as Eurodisney, it took some time for this theme park to catch on, but it has become popular since opening. Favorite attractions at Paris Disneyland include Space Mountain, Rock n Roller Coast and Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. Like the other Disneylands, the Paris edition is separated into familiar thematic sections such as Fantasyland and its own Discoveryland.

Hong Kong Disneyland

The Disneyland in Hong Kong is the smallest of Disney's theme parks and is jointly owned by the government of Hong Kong and Disney. This Disneyland is also separated into familiar lands but will eventually include additional regions such as the Grizzly Trail and Mystic Point. Popular attractions include the Alice in Wonderland teacup ride and the Jungle River Cruise.
