List of Towns in Texas
A big state like Texas should be expected to have quite a massive collection of golf courses. Many towns in Texas are ideal for those who enjoy hitting the links. Don't forget, however, that Texas has many other offerings for visitors besides a nice way to spend a sunny few hours. Check into what other pleasures these Texas towns serve up to tourists.

Austin

Austin is not only the state capital, but also proudly considers itself the eccentric center of Texas weirdness. What isn't weird are the great golf courses in town including Barton Creek and Horseshoe Bay. Austin has a lively alternative music scene, is home to the LBJ Library and Museum and more barbecue restaurants than you can eat at in a week.

The Alamo may surprise you with its diminutive status, but its historical significance can't be denied. Great golf courses in San Antonio include Canyon Springs Golf Club and Pecan Valley Golf Club.

Afterward, you'll want to hit one of Dallas' fantastic golf courses like Buffalo Creek Golf Club or The Golf Club of Dallas.
