Selected the top restaurant of 2008 by Portland Food & Drink online magazine, 1001 offers a unique wine experience with a list that emphasizes all of the great wine the Pacific Northwest has to offer balanced with great wines from around the world. The 3,000 bottle cellar features 850 selections from more than 40 regions. Guests are welcome to enjoy up to two bottles from their own private cellars for a corking fee. The cuisine from new chef Benjamin Parks features an abundance of seafood, from halibut to scallops to king salmon balanced with more carnivorous choices augmented with local, fresh vegetables.

Wildwood
Rife with ingredients grown in the Willamette Valley and other neighboring areas of the Pacific Northwest, most just a few miles from their kitchen, the Wildwood focuses its attention very closely on local products, produce and wines from around Oregon and Washington state. It serves a complex and flavorful assortment of meat, fish and fowl, complemented by a substantial wine list of more than 250 selections mainly from artisan producers in the Pacific Northwest. Particular attention is given to Oregon Pinot Noirs with 25 to 30 selections available year-round.

The Heathman Restaurant & Bar
Elegantly combining the best of local, seasonal ingredients with fine French cooking, the Heathman varies its recipes and menu according to what freshest local ingredients are available. Chef Phillippe Boulot lists everything from wild sturgeon to Willamette Valley lamb to quail on his menu that earned him the James Beard Best Chef award for the Pacific Northwest in 2001. With almost 7,000 bottles, 750 selections and 61 wines by the glass, the Heathman's wine list is exemplary.
