Islands Restaurant
The Islands burger restaurant chain in Monterey has more of a restaurant look and feel than other locations in California. Its Kilauea burger, a popular choice for those who enjoy spicy burgers, has a jalapeno and pepper crusted patty. The Sunset burger is for those who prefer a barbecue flavor. All of the burger combinations come with endless fries. And a number of Southwestern-style dishes satisfy family members or golfers who don't want a burger.

Tap Room Bar & Grill--Pebble Beach Lodge
The Tap Room Bar and Grill is the closest restaurant to the links at Pebble Beach that offers a good burger. Located just inside of the Pebble Beach Lodge, the Tap Room primarily features steak, but the burger listed on the menu can be made to order and will fill you. It is a half pound Black Angus patty served with pepper bacon and sharp cheddar on a Brioche bun. If you want to add or subtract toppings to the burger, the restaurant will do so. If you haven't eaten at the Tap Room, the trip is worth it just to enjoy a pint of your favorite beverage and a great burger.
