Winter's Eve at Lincoln Square
Winter's Eve at Lincoln Square is New York City's largest holiday festival and has been since its inception in 1999. Winter's Eve is a one-evening winter celebration on the Upper West Side that starts at Columbus Circle where the Time Warner Center is located, and stretches all the way up to 68th Street. The event is free to the public. You can expect to see a lot of entertainment along Columbus Avenue and Broadway including street performers and musicians, stilt-walkers and jugglers. There is a tree lighting of a neighborhood tree, shops are open, food is available to taste and there are other winter activities to enjoy.
