If you're heading for Louisville, Kentucky, on business or pleasure, set aside an afternoon or two to play Seneca or Crescent Hill Golf Courses, public courses that are well-maintained and only a few minutes from downtown. And if you are hungry after your rounds, consider going to one of the excellent seafood joints that dot the city.
Mitchell's Fish Market
To serve the freshest fish possible, Mitchell's Fish Market prints a new menu two times each day. As they say, "fish any fresher than what we serve would still be in the ocean." Because of the volume of orders daily, Mitchell's flies in fish from the Bering Strait, Chesapeake Bay and Gulf of Mexico. Any given day, you could order halibut from Alaska, mahi mahi from the Gold Coast in Florida, or yellowfin tuna from Hawaii. And besides seafood, the menu has chicken, steak, salads and appetizers.

Mike Linnig's Restaurant
People who have left Louisville will never forget the food and atmosphere at Mike Linnig's Restaurant. It has served some of the best seafood to Louisvillians since 1925. Foods such as fried fish, frog legs, pan-seared oysters and turtle soup have been satisfying natives' hunger ever since. And during the summer, you can sit outside, where the canopy of ancient oaks lets you stay cool throughout your meal.

Joe's OK Bayou
This funky place opened in 1995 and was an immediate success. So much so that the owners opened a second restaurant across the Ohio River in New Albany, Indiana. As the name implies, this restaurant serves Cajun fare such as seafood gumbo, etouffee, boiled crawfish and the frequent diner's favorite, gator tail. In addition to serving food with the freshest ingredients, it also has a well-equipped bar where you can watch a sporting event on the wide-screen television.
