Golf Galaxy Tour
A tremendously popular and wide-open series of tournaments, Golf Galaxy Tour makes stops in Nevada for about 20 tournaments a year at various Las Vegas courses. Each is a open to all amateur players who shoot 95 for 18 holes. Rounds are played at such courses as Black Mountain Golf Club, Arroyo at Red Rock and Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.

The U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier tournament is open to all male players 17 and under and is sanctioned by the United States Golf Association. The winner competes in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.

Reno Sparks City Championship
Held in Reno each year, the Reno Sparks City Championship is a stroke-play tournament open to members of the Northern Nevada Golf Association. The event is held in late spring and draws spectators from throughout the Reno region.

Clark County Amateur
The Clark County Amateur tournament is held every fall and open to amateur men. The 2009 event will be held Nov. 14-15 at Boulder Creek Golf Club on the Desert Hawk and Coyote Run courses.

There are a variety tournaments for amateur women players throughout Nevada. Most are hosted and/or sanctioned by the Nevada State Women's Golf Association. Tournaments include the Nevada Stroke Play Championships, Four Person Team Championship and the State Senior Championship.
