List of Indian Airlines
Perhaps you are planning a family trip to India both to learn something about the fascinating culture and maybe to get in a round or two at some the famous golf courses there. Clubs like Bombay Presidency on the west coast in Mumbai, or the Royal Calcutta in Tollygunge, are beautifully maintained and challenging. If you plan to see a number of places in India, you'll need to fly to them because the nation is massive in size.

Kingfisher Airlines Limited

This airline started in 2005 and it is now the largest airline company in India with more than 400 flights each day going to 72 different destinations. It also serves airports in several international cities. It based its future on the premise that passengers were looking for increased service. For example, it was one of the first airplines in the world that offered its passengers live television through DishTV. Through one of its numerous holding companies, it also owns Kingfisher Red, an airline that offers low fares to passengers headed for numerous cities in India. Kingfisher Airlines is one of only five that has received a five-star rating from the international service, Skytrax.

Its bases of operation are at the international airports in Mumbai and in Delhi. It became an international carrier in 1948 when it first made the trip to London by way of Cairo and it now serves airports in 29 cities worldwide.
