Gulf State Park offers golf, tennis, sunbathing and picnic areas in the span of 6,150 acres. The Gulf State Park Golf Course is open seven days a week and features a pro shop, snack bar and rental club counter. The Earl Stone-designed championship course at Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club is located across the Little Lagoon from Sandpiper Lane. This 27-hole course is divided into Marsh, Lakes and Cypress sections to identify the hazards awaiting golfers. Every golfer receives range balls, a handheld GPS and a cart when paying full greens fees at Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club. Cypress Bend Golf Course at Craft Farms
Cypress Bend Golf Course at Craft Farms is an Arnold Palmer-designed course spanning 6,848 yards. This par-72 course features a sharp dogleg right on the 440-yard, par 4 10th hole. The 543-yard 13th hole challenges golfers with ponds bordering both sides of the fairway. The final hole is ideal for big drivers with 505 yards of well-manicured grass between the tee and the green. Craft Farms hosts casual dining at the Cotton Creek Grille and more formal dinners at the Arnold Palmer Dining Room.
