With several dozen golf courses within a 20-mile radius of Atlanta, there's no shortage of places to challenge your game. But depending on how you're swinging the clubs, any of the local courses could be more challenging than you want them to be. If that's the case, whether you're just starting out or are a seasoned pro, you can always get better, and one of the best ways is by booking a lesson.
American Golf at Bobby Jones Golf Club
American Golf is part of the Nike Golf School, and there's one right in Atlanta at the Bobby Jones Golf Club. They offer lessons for all levels of golfers, from beginners to advanced, and can help you develop your swing as easily as they can teach you how to take strokes off your game.

Atlanta Golf Academy
The Atlanta Golf Academy uses individualized instruction to help you take your golf game further. The academy offers specialized schools, individual lessons and the ability to handle large groups. Most instruction takes place either on a range or in a simulated environment where your swing can go through computer and video analysis. One of the more interesting promises they make is if you take a lesson and aren't amazed, it's free.
