Hawaii Kai Golf Course
Just try to keep your mind on golf with the mountain and ocean views at the Hawaii Kai Championship Golf Course. If the day is clear you can spy the island of Maui. When you visit this course in the winter, you can see whales spouting water in the Pacific, as they head towards Maui, where they give birth. You are offered a choice between the Championship course and the Executive course, both are public. Beginners, as well as experienced golfers, enjoy both golf courses. Choose to start your game on the Championship course at the regular tees or the championship tees. This 18-hole course is 6,500 yards. It's been designed for the golfer to get a view of the Pacific Ocean, the Makapuu Cliffs and the eastern coastline at every hole. The 18-hole Executive course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., at 2,223 yards, is a more challenging course, requiring chipping and putting skills. Every hole of this course gives the player views of the Koko Head Volcano, now extinct. Stop by the Queen's Beach Restaurant for refreshments after a great game of golf.
