Royal Links Golf Club
Come play a British Open-style course--minus the damp, miserable weather--year-round. This course is modeled after some of the famous links courses across the pond. Each hole is fashioned after a famous hole at St. Andrew's, Royal Troon or another British Open course. The Scottish-designed course even boasts an English castle. Royal Links was voted the 13th best public golf course in the country by the readers of Golf World Magazine. If just playing the 7,029-yard course, which includes more than 100 pot bunkers, isn't enough, feel free to take advantage of their one-of-a-kind caddy service. With ParMates, golfers can get beautiful girls to caddy for them. They replace divots, keep your score and, of course, keep on top of your drink orders.

Bali Hali Golf Club
You'll sure feel like you're playing a Vegas course amid the 2,500 palm trees and more than 100,000 tropical plants. The only public and championship course on the Strip offers bunkers filled with Augusta sand and even an island green. These greens are some of the fastest in the area. Bali Hali was voted the sixth best public golf course in the country by readers of Golf World Magazine. The 7,002-yard course offers incredible views of the Strip and has more than enough elevation changes to make you realize you're definitely in the mountains. Before or after you play, however, definitely hit up the 32,000-square foot clubhouse, which hosts some great restaurants, including the Cili Restaurant and Bar.

Bet On Golf
We know, sometimes you just want to lay low during the day and stay out of that Vegas sun. No problem, just hit the casino sports books. The Vegas sports books are a great place to pop a squat and lay down golf bets, or just watch the world's best compete on the huge flat-screen TVs. Bally's, MGM and the Mirage are the biggest sports books in town, with TVs and waitresses circling the area. Bettor's tip: Get your wagers in early Thursday before the start of the major championships. Large crowds bulk up right before the first tee times. Look to make more than just the usual bets on a player to win a tournament, like Tiger Woods 3-2 odds to win the Masters. Take a shot at head-to-head match-ups instead, such as Phil Mickelson (+130) vs. Tiger Woods (-110). That way, if your guy isn't in contention to win the tournament, you still have another bet you can track and have a shot at winning.
Hit The Pools
While the golfer in your family is away on the course, feel free to cool off from that Vegas sun at one of the many resort pools on the Strip. Far and away the best pool in Vegas is the Mandalay Bay Beach. Set on 11 acres, the Beach offers three swimming pools, a lazy river and a wave pool. There are 2,700 tons of real sand and more than 100 cabanas to rent. For a more adventurous ride, check out the Mirage Pool. The tropical theme features two pools, interconnected with lagoons and three water slides. Caesar's and the Bellagio are the other favorites on the Strip, while the Venetian with its fountains, spas and Venetian garden is the hot spot for couples.
