Los Angeles International
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is located west of downtown Los Angeles off the 405 Freeway and is the fifth-busiest airport in the world. LAX has a huge international terminal (the Tom Bradley International Terminal) and is a major jumping off point for flights to Asia. All major domestic airlines and most international and discount airlines serve this airport. Ground transportation to area hotels and attractions are easily available outside of the baggage claim area and rental cars require shuttle service from the terminal. Many concourses at LAX are not interconnected, so be aware that if you are planning to use this as a connecting airport, you may need to exit security and re-enter a different building.
