Sycamore Speedway
Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park is a great place to spend a nice evening---if you don't mind getting a little dirty. This clay oval track hosts mostly amateur stock car racing and demolition derbies, and it maintains a packed schedule from April to October. The races tend to kick up lots of dirt and send bits of mud flying into the grandstands, but to the hundreds of locals and tourists who flock in for the famous demolition derbies, it's well worth the extra laundry.
